Welcome to Sayler-Tait Family Cellars. We specialize in Rhône-style wines and are pleased to
announce our inaugural release of wines. Our 2005 Syrah and 2006 Viognier are available for

Crush has started in earnest. We decided to make a Marsanne/Rousanne blend this year instead
of a Viognier. Broken Leg vineyard - our source for Viognier - decided to graft all the Viognier over
to Pinot Noir. We are sure they will produce great Pinot but we continue to focus on grapes from
the h Our Syrah came in earlier It seems we have waited a long time for this day...waited for our
wines to develop in barrel and then in bottle before release. But, in other ways it seems like just
yesterday we started this adventure. Speaking of adventures, check out a video of the 2007

We believe that great wines begin in the vineyard and we source fruit from some of the best

Founded in 2005, Sayler-Tait Family Cellars is a boutique winery hand-crafting ultra-permium
Rhône-style wines. Why use grapes that originated in the Rhône? Our head winemaker, Dean
                                                                      Tait collected, tasted and judged California wine for
                                                                      more than a decade and determined that Syrah and
                                                                      Viognier make the most interesting wines.

                                                                      We source our fruit from the very best vineyards in
                                                                      California and make the wine in a true Rhône-style.

                                                                      California. Our Syrah comes from Alder Springs
                                                                      Vineyard in Mendocino as well Pacific Coastal in
                                                                      Santa Babara. Our Viognier comes from Broken Leg
                                                                      Vineyard and Catie's Corner Vineyard both of which
                                                                      are in Anderson Valley.
