We specialize in making Northern Rhône-style wines. We make Syrah and Viognier from fruit that we
source from the very best vineyards in California.
Current Release
2008 Alder Springs Vineyard Syrah
A bold in your face, Rhône-style Syrah released in the autumn of 2010. This Syrah
comes from a vineyard over three hours north of San Francisco and has
elevations as high as 2700 feet for a cooling effect. The perfect embodiment of
this classic vineyard, this wine will live forever!
2007 Alder Springs Vineyard Syrah
A more fruit driven version of the 2008 Syrah, this wine has benefited from bottle
age. This Syrah from the storied Alder Springs Vineyard opens with red fruit and
cherry with 50% new oak barrels the finish is bacon and pepper. Drink now or for
the next 10 years!
2008 Alder Springs Vineyard White Rhone Blend
This white wine is a blend of 50% Marsanne and 50% Rousanne which produced
a bold white wine with the weight of a Chardonnay and a balance that is second to
none!

2006 Alder Springs Vineyard Syrah
2006 was a near perfect year in Mendocino for growing Syrah. This Syrah is made
in a classical Rhône-style. Just the right balance of fruit and oak to produce an
opening of red fruit, nice weight on the palate and a vanilla-peppery finish. This
wine will live for many years to come.
2007 Broken Leg Vineyard Viognier
A classic fruit-driven Rhône-style white wine that is ready to drink now. This
Viognier comes from a cool climate in Anderson Valley. The vineyard slope is a
dizzying 60 degrees with southern exposure. This classic wine opens with honey
and floral scents and delivers a creamy mouthfeel with tropical fruit flavors.
2006 Broken Leg Vineyard Viognier
A slightly more fruity wine than the one above, this wine showcases Viognier's
tropical fruit flavors. A wonderful mouthfeel and finish. The 2006 Viognier
benefited from fermentation in neutral oak an da year on the lees in that same
oak. This fruit-driven wine is ready to drink now.

2005 Eaglepoint Ranch Syrah
A well structured and fruit-driven Rhône-style Syrah that is ready to drink now. This
Syrah comes from a vineyard of decomposed sandstone at 1800' of elevation in
Mendocino. The ruby/purple wine opens with aromas of blue and blackberries
along with a hint of spice. Well structured and fruit-driven, it is ready to drink now
but will age for a decade.
